Analog to Digital Student Inquiry Activity

"Analog to Digital Student Inquiry Activity" will be a day-long interactive, immersive research and learning activity. UT Astronomy graduate students (alumna/current) Dr. Jackie Champagne, Dr. Olivia Cooper, and Maria Straight will be leading an immersive research activity sponsored by UC Santa Cruz's Institute for Science and Engineering Educators (ISEE). Different from a traditional classroom or lecture experience, this full-day activity will get students thinking like a researcher in hands-on instrument design and data analysis. The activity will provide an engaging learning experience for the students, wherein the students will gain understanding of STEM content and practice that will be broadly applicable to any STEM career.
