Description
The Impact of Stellar Feedback on the Dark Matter Properties of Galaxies
Dark matter is a major unknown in our understanding of the universe, but the current standard of cold dark-matter (CDM) fails on small scales. Feedback from star-formation is thought to solve the small scale problem. It is now possible to observe (thanks to recent progress with integral field units) both the dark matter properties of distant galaxies and the presence of feedback on the gaseous halos around galaxies. I'll present recent results on these fronts using MUSE.
