Research Interests: Star formation, young stars, binary star systems, stellar accretion, stellar magnetism.

I am a postdoctoral fellow working with Prof. Adam Kraus on the characterization of young star systems. I received my PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Spring of 2018.

I am interested in all things young stars: how they form, how they interact with their protoplanetary material, and how our observations of them compare to models. I am primarily an observer with a particular interest in time-series observations. My focus these day are on a couple of projects:

Measuring the mass, radii, and other fundamental properties for a sample of young eclipsing binaries in Upper Scorpius.

Monitoring how young, close binary star systems accrete material from their protoplanetary disks.

Determining how binary star systems affect the kinematics, stability, and lifetimes of protoplanetary disks.
