Abstract
JWST will be able to observe exoplanet transit spectra with wavelength coverage from the optical through the infrared. I will discuss two ways that this broader wavelength coverage necessitates changes to how we interpret transit spectra: (1) accounting for aerosol species, and (2) whether the expected variations between day-side and night-side of tidally-locked planets leave significant imprints on transit spectra.
